Plaza Hotel Building Becoming Barer Before Implosion

One of College Station's tallest buildings and biggest eyesores is now a shell of its once better self.

Demolition crews are working away at stripping the Plaza Hotel of its furnishings, windows, and other items inside in preparation for implosion in about three weeks.

You can even see straight through several floors of the building now.

The 17-story former hotel is coming down on Thursday, May 24th around 6:30 in the morning.

News 3 will have live team coverage of the implosion and you can see a live stream of the spectacle that day on KBTX.com .
