A frightening moment Wednesday night for a College Station driver.

Police say a 43-year-old woman was trying to leave the Tower Park Apartments on Holleman Drive around 6:45 p.m.

The woman reportedly didn't see another car in the lane she was trying to enter, so she swerved. Police say instead of hitting the break, the driver hit the accelerator and rammed into the apartment sign.

No one was injured, but the driver was ticketed for failure to control speed.
