Hotels are full this weekend for football, but there may be one extra room available after a pair of arrested with drugs in their room and on their persons.
Stanley Charles Ford, 55, and Nicole Anderson, 48, were arrested early Friday morning at the Holiday Plaza Hotel on Texas Avenue in Bryan.
After a caller said they thought the two Bryan residents were selling drugs out of their room, Bryan Police say they found crack cocaine rocks and residue scattered across the room, along with cash.
Police say crack rocks were found on Anderson in the hotel room. Then, authorities say more crack reportedly fell off her after she had gotten out of the car at the jail. Another search of her turned up crack rocks in her panties. A search of the patrol car yielded more rocks, and video surveillance reportedly showed her hiding rocks in the patrol car as she was driven to jail.
On the drug charges, bond for each was set at $25,000. Anderson faces an additional charges of tampering with evidence, with bond on that set at $8,000. Plus, she is wanted on a parole violation out of Austin.
As of late Friday morning, both remained in the Brazos County Jail.
