Police are asking for your help in finding suspects involved in a shooting in Huntsville.
It happened yesterday in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road in Huntsville, where police say three to four suspects entered an apartment and assaulted the occupants while trying to look for valuables. During the incident one of the tenants was shot in the upper right leg with what police call moderate injuries. The victim was taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston by Lifeflight and is listed in stable condition.
It is believed the suspects were driving a blue Volkswagen 4 door car, possibly a Passat, with a spare "donut" tire and wheel.
Because of the suspects' use of a deadly weapon in this crime, the offense is enhanced to an Aggravated Robbery. An Aggravated Robbery is a felony of the 1st degree and is punishable by 5 years to 99 years, or life, in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
