An apparent fraternity pledge activity for Aggies landed the group in hot water on the University of Texas campus.
According to the UT Police Department's website, it was the morning of Sunday, April 14 that a group of ten students were spotted drawing ATM logos on the Main Building on campus with chalk.
One member of the group, which was wearing maroon, said it was part of the pledge process for the Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity at Texas A&M. Logos needed to be placed on the UT campus somewhere, and pictures needed to be taken to prove the placement. Bonus points would be given if pictures were taken with police.
UT Police say all ten were issued criminal trespass citations.
"The one A&M student who had allowed his picture to be taken, while he drew a large ATM on the south side of the Main Building, was issued a court appearance citation for Criminal Mischief," the UT report reads. "It was the officers who were taking their pictures. I know, Poor Aggies."
