More than 2,000 marijuana plants have been recovered by authorities in Washington County, who say a suspect remains at large and may pose a threat if confronted.
Two people have been detained in connection to the operation, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, but they are seeking a suspect who they only describe as wearing only shorts when he was last seen.
The operation is located on Husemann Road, which is between Brenham and Washington and runs between Hwy 105 and FM 390.
Deputies are assisting the Drug Enforcement Agency with the bust. Brenham Police and DPS are also helping the DEA.
The plants ranged from three to eight feet tall, according to authorities.
No charges have been filed as of noon Friday, but the investigation continues.
News 3 has a crew on the scene and will have more on this story as it becomes available.
