Power Outages Continue After Heavy Winds

There are hundreds of residents without power across Madison County according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

The two power companies that provide power to Madison County are Mid-South Synergy and Entergy according to the sheriff’s department.

Mid-South Synergy reports that about 1,500 customers are out of power. All crews, as well as contractors, are out in the field working to restore the power.

Entergy reports about 200 customers are without power in Madison County. They report that initial damage assessment includes downed wires and poles, plus damage from tree limbs.
