An issue with a transformer was to blame for power outages in Bryan Monday.

According to BTU, the problem with the transformer at the Shady Lane facility is being addressed.

The issues began around 5:15 p.m. Monday, and power was fully restored about an hour later.

If you are at an intersection that has a light with no power, treat the intersection as a four-way stop.

BTU could not give an estimate on customers affected.
