Prostitution Sting Nets Two Arrests in CS

A sting operation Thursday in College Station landed a pair of women in jail on prostitution charges.

Around 11:30 a.m., CSPD's Special Investigations Unit entered a home in the 2400 block of Carnation Court. Authorities say there had been a number of complaints about unusual activity.

Through their search, investigators believed Amber Lynn Beckham, 23, and Itzel Clarisa Johnson, 34, were running a prostitution business out of the home. Authorities say they were using the names "Karri Diamond" and "Little Miss Hottie" online to solicit business.

Investigators went on to conduct an undercover sting operation. Both females allegedly agreed to sexual acts for money. Beckham and Johnson were arrested.

Prostitution is a class B misdemeanor.
