Details for Public Memorial Service Honoring Bryan Fire Lieutenants

LIVE MEMORIAL COVERAGE:

KBTX Media will be airing the public memorial service starting at 10 a.m. on KBTX's sister station, the CW 8 Aggieland and online at KBTX.com's Livestream.

The CW 8 can be seen by Suddenlink viewers on Channel 8 and 711, and for others by digital antenna on digital Channel 3.2.

Dish and DirecTV viewers may not be able to view local programming on the CW, depending on the coverage agreement between those providers. Contact your service provider for further questions.

A public memorial (#BFDmemorial) service for fallen Bryan Fire Department members Lt. Greg Pickard and Lt. Eric Wallace will be held Wednesday, February 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 1991 Farm to Market Road 158, College Station, Texas.

Representatives and honor guards of fire departments from across the state are expected to participate in the proceedings.

The general public is asked to park at Veterans Park, 3101 Harvey Road, College Station, Texas 77845. From there, buses will transport the public to and from the church. Shuttle buses will run from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. and will return to the parking area after the memorial service is concluded.

Boonville Road/FM 158 will be closed from Pendleton Drive to Elmo Weedon Road from 5:00 a.m. until after the memorial service is completed. The intersection of FM 60 (University Drive) and Boonville Road/FM 158 will be closed during the same time frame.
