The Navasota High School team and fans are celebrating a big win.
The football team won the Class 3A division II State Championship.
We spoke with excited football fans in downtown Navasota where supporters are going blue.

Navasota is happy to be home of the football champs in the 3A division.

A manager at the Dairy queen had Rattler fever.

"I'm not even from Navasota and I find that I've been snake bitten myself," said Roshan Artis

He was one of the first to claim victory as he put up a sign in front of the restaurant, right after the team won.

"The football team has been such a great source of pride for the town," said Artis.

Thousand of fans were at the game along with Robert Nemir in the stands screaming.

"I think everybody in town was at the game and so it was just amazing, the guys were just on their A game," said Nemir.

And now that the players are back in Rattler Nation, they feel grateful for all the support.

"Most teams like 3A schools don't have this much support behind them. They don't have that many fans so it's a great thing to know we have a community this great behind us," said Jordan Wells, Defensive MVP.

"You know it's very exciting when you go home and you know you have a ring that no one else has in our family. You know it's good knowing that we gave a 100 percent effort out there on the field," said Austin Collins, Offensive MVP.

For these players and their city, it's a game that they will never forget.
