Registration starts Monday, March 5 for the City of Bryan’s annual Family Camp Out at Austin’s Colony Park.
The campout begins at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21 at Austin’s Colony Park (behind Harvey Mitchell Elementary school on Austin’s Colony Parkway). Families are invited to spend the evening under the stars, roasting hot dogs and s’mores, playing games, making crafts and telling campfire stories. The movie Yogi Bear will also be shown during the event.
After your night at the park, breakfast with hot coffee will be served Sunday morning, before everyone packs up at 9:00 a.m.
During early registration (March 5 – April 20) the cost to attend Family Campout is $5 for kids and $7 for adults. Day-of registration is $7 for kids and $10 for adults. Tent rentals are available for families who can’t bring their own. Four-person tents can be rented for $13 and six-person tents will be available for $20.
To register for the event, fill in the attached form (or download here) and turn it in at the Parks and Recreation Office (1309 East Martin Luther King Boulevard) during business hours or at the Bryan Aquatic Center (3101 Oak Ridge Drive) after 5:00 p.m.
