The Federal Bureau of Investigation has issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the so-called "Loan Ranger Bandit."
The man is believed to have robbed at least ten banks since early 2009, including the FedStar Credit Union on Harvey Road College Station in August 2012.
Most of his alleged crimes have been in Texas -- Wichita Falls, Tyler, Temple, Round Rock, Tyler and Salado in addition to College Station -- but is also believed to have robbed financial institutions in Arkansas and Mississippi.
Given the title because he has worn a Texas Rangers ball cap during some the robberies of institutions where loans are available, the man is described as a white male in his early 30s, between 5’7” to 6’0” tall and weighing around 200 pounds with a medium build. He's been seen with short, light brown hair and glasses. He's also believed to have a small mark above his right eye.
A maroon Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck with a thin white pinstripe around the truck bed is believed to be a vehicle he has used.
You're asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or http://tips.fbi.gov if you have any information that could lead to the arrest of this person. Authorities warn that he is believe to be armed and dangerous, so call law enforcement if you spot him.
