Road Closed, Culvert Washed Away By Recent Rains

FM 39 is closed in Madison County due to a culvert washing out from the rains we have received the past few days. FM 39 is closed approximately four miles from the Grimes County Line.

Traffic is being detoured to FM 1696 to SH 90 to SH 75 to US 190 back to FM 39. TxDOT is currently working on the roadway and it should be closed for approximately three days.
