Rollover Accident in Brazos County at Dilly Shaw Tap Road

Dilly Shaw Tap Road in Brazos County is returning to normal Thursday... after a cement truck overturned.

Wet cement poured out onto the roadway, causing the road to be shut down for several hours.

According to initial reports, the truck left the roadway, spun around and ended up in a ditch. The driver of that truck was trapped and had to be cut out. He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his injuries.

The accident happened near Dilly Shaw Tap Road at the intersection with Fawn Lake Drive.

Dispatchers were reporting the person was bleeding from the forehead.
