It's back to the drawing board as Bryan ISD plans to expand a high school field house.
Monday night the Bryan ISD Board of Trustees voted to change the selection process for a construction company on the nearly $2.5 million renovation. It will include an expanded weight room and facilities area.
Superintendent Tommy Wallis said they will look at qualifications and pricing for the project at the same time rather than qualifications first.
"It'll be locker room space. It'll be an open area. A weight room large enough. Because were are going to add wrestling to the program as well so they've got to have an open mat room, a meeting type room. you'll have storage space because Rudder High School right now has inadequate storage. So we're gonna put storage in there," said Tommy Wallis, Bryan ISD Superintendent.
It's unclear how long the project will be delayed.
