College Station Police are investigating a mystery accident Friday morning.
Police tell us the driver fled the scene after the accident.
First responders were dispatched to the feeder road of Highway 6 at the Post Oak Mall after a Chevy Trailblazer had rolled over and crashed sometime around 2:55 A.M.
The driver was nowhere to be found and it's unclear why the accident happened.
Police tell us they have now made contact with the woman driver and charges for failing to report the accident are expected to be filed.
"It's unknown why the driver fled. It's unknown if alcohol was a factor but the investigation might reveal some of those facts," said Officer Phil Dorsett, of the College Station Police Department.
At this time police do not believe there were any injuries.
The investigation continues.
