A local retirement community's food services have resumed after being shut down for the second time in less than a year.
According to the Brazos County Health Department, they closed the Waldenbrooke Estates kitchen in Bryan after finding evidence of rats on March 26. One day later, inspectors came back and said the kitchen could reopen.
A $500 re-inspection fee also had to be paid.
Waldenbrooke was shut down for two days in June of last year because of an issue with roaches.
