Several Local Police Officers Part Of Presidential Inauguration Security

Several officers with the Bryan, College Station, and Texas A&M Police Department along with deputies from the Brazos County Sheriff's Office are taking part in assisting with security in Washington D.C for tomorrow's inaugural ceremony and parade

D.C police deputized more than 2,000 officers from 40 states including officers from Bryan.

The Bryan Police Department says about16 officers from their department were appointed as deputy U.S. Marshals for the period of the inauguration.
