Eight cars were burglarized in Bryan Friday night, according to Bryan police.

Five vehicles were broken into at the Royal Oaks Gardens Apartments on Carter Creek Pkwy, and three more vehicles were hit on the 1800 block of Briar Oaks Drive.

Police say the burglars smashed the vehicle windows then took items inside. Stolen items included purses and stereo equipment.

There are no suspects at this time, according to police. The vehicle burglaries are still under investigation.
