Sewing Machine King Visits Bryan

A sewing and vacuum store in Bryan hosted sewing royalty.

Toshi Takayasu is the president and CEO of Janome America Incorporaated. The sewing machine king stopped by Sew Vac City Direct for a business meeting all the way from Japan and gave the Bryan store special recognition.

The Bryan store received a plaque for being one of the top stores in the nation.

Takayasu brought an entourage of six Japanese visitors to the store who are experiencing Texas for the first time. The sewing machine king is traveling to Houston for the quilt market and celebration.

This is Takayasu's third visit to Bryan.
