The Leon County Sheriff''s Office is teaming up with the Texas Department of Public Safety to crack down on sex offenders who fail to register in the county.

On March 22, deputies and troopers conducted a random compliance check for ten of Leon County's registered sex offenders.

Two of them were reportedly arrested after investigators found them to be non-compliant.

Sheriff's deputies in Robertson County and Washington County have also been working with DPS on the initiative.
