UPDATE: Brazos County Deputies worked into the early hours of Monday morning after a shooting in the southern part of the county Sunday.

The victims in that shooting have been identified as 27 year old Cassandra Ross, a Navasota resident and 42 year old Daniel Lee Barker, a Brazos County resident.

Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk says the investigation so far reveals Ross was shot in the head through the window of a residence around 9 P-M Sunday night at 1755 Navasota Ridge.

Sometime later, Barker was located by authorities on the property with a wound inflicted by the same gun.

It's unclear how Barker was shot.

Officials believe the shooting was possibly a domestic disturbance.

The gun has been recovered by authorities.

Ross was transported to The Med in College Station and Barker was air lifted to Hermann Hospital in Houston.

They are both listed in critical condition.
