The sounds of Christmas came as a bit of a surprise to shoppers at the Post Oak Mall in College Station.
That's because the Texas A&M Singing Cadets, Women's Chorus and Century Singers did a flash mob Saturday afternoon at the mall's food court.
Nearly 200 singers were on hand to sing the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah.
"You know you always see these things on YouTube, on the news happening in big cities and everything like that. Hope they realize that it can happen in College Station also I think that's kind of interesting. Also I hope they'll take away we have a Christmas Concert on December 4th this coming Sunday at 3 P.M. in Rudder Auditorium.
You can get tickets at the MSC Box Office," said Andy Rowell, Texas A&M Singing Cadets President.
Tickets for Sunday's concert at Rudder Auditorium are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
