Splendora PD Searching for Bank Robbery Suspect

Splendora Police are searching for a suspect responsible for a bank robbery Saturday morning.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the First Bank and Trust Bank of East Texas at U-S 59 and FM 20-90.

Investigators say the suspect is in his early to mid-twenties, approximately 5'-11" and weighs about 175 pounds.

Police say the man entered the bank and gave the teller a threatening note saying he had a gun and this was a robbery.

The suspect got away in a silver Dodge Club Cab.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 281-689-3448.
