Springbrook HOA Lawsuit Dismissed

Posted: Wed 2:57 PM, May 02, 2012

The Brazos County Small Claims Court has dismissed the lawsuit that was filed by several Springbrook homeowners last month.

The property owners in the Springbrook community, in south College Station, filed the lawsuit because they are opposed to their homeowner’s association donating land to a hike and bike trail.

Now that the lawsuit is dismissed, plans to build the Lick Creek Trail are moving forward according to the Springbrook HOA president, Gary Ives.

“We are now working with the city to negotiate the terms of the conditional dedication,” said Ives.
