BRYAN, Texas You may have heard about some very good spaghetti and meatballs that gets cooked up every year by St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bryan.
Well they held the annual fundraiser Sunday, and set a new attendance record.
More than 3,200 plates of spaghetti and meatballs were sold at St. Anthony's before they ran out.
Church members have been cooking all week.
This fundraiser has been happening for more than 70 years, and benefits the church and parish.
"This is the 72nd year and it's great camaraderie and we just have a blast, so a lot of laughing, cutting up," said Kathy Court, a St. Anthony's Catholic Church Member and Chairman of the spaghetti dinner.
Members are still counting up all the money for the event and should have a grand total in the coming weeks.
