Steel Work Wraps Up On New College Station Fire Station

College Station Fire Department's future presence on University Drive continues to grow.

All of the steel is now in place for the new Fire Station 6.

The $6.9 million facility on Tarrow Street and University Drive will be the home of six firefighters per shift with 18 new positions being brought in.

It will also include a dedicated ambulance and fire engine at the site.

The new station is on track to be completed by November.
