Suspected Drunken Driving With A 9mm Handgun

Last night around midnight, Tyler Alan Ford was in a one car accident on Harvey Road in College Station. His white F-250 was heading East when Police say Ford lost control of the truck and rolled into a ditch.

When Police arrived on the scene they say they found Ford intoxicated and placed him under arrest. After futher investagtion the driver admitted to having a loaded 9MM handgun in his backpack.

As a result, Ford has been charged with Driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon
