TX-TF1 Talks About Recovery Efforts in Tornado-Ravaged Moore, OK

Texas Task Force 1 has been in Moore, Oklahoma since Tuesday morning helping with search and recovery operations after a deadly tornado ripped through the area on Monday.

The 80-member TX-TF1 "White" Team is a Type 1 Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) Team consisting of Technical and Canine Search components along with Heavy Rescue personnel and equipment.

Operations Chief Jeff Saunders says this is one of the worst disasters he's seen.

The team will head back to College Station on Thursday morning.
