COLLEGE STATION - Season tickets for Texas A&M’s upcoming football campaign are now available for general public sales due to additional seating capacity at Kyle Field in 2014 as part of redevelopment.
Seating capacity for the 2014 season will increase to 106,300 before resting at a final capacity of 102,512 upon completion of the comprehensive redevelopment in 2015.
The east and south sections of Kyle Field will be completely redeveloped in time for the 2014 season, which will have the Aggies kick off at home on Sept. 6 vs. Lamar. New seating options in the south end zone will include wider seats and greater leg room, enhanced concessions, and significantly more restroom facilities. The west side of the stadium, which includes the current press box, will be complete for the 2015 season.
Other amenities scheduled for the 2014 season as part of the Kyle Field redevelopment include new entrances and exits for the east and south sections of the stadium, college football’s largest video board and the first in 1080HD, and numerous other stadium enhancements.
Season ticket packages for 2014 begin at $350 for the six-game home slate, which also includes Rice (Sept. 13), Ole Miss (Oct. 11), Louisiana-Monroe (Nov. 1), Missouri (Nov. 15) and LSU on Thanksgiving (Nov. 27).
Tickets can be purchased by calling the 12th Man Foundation’s Ticket Office at 888-99-AGGIE, or by visiting www.aggieathletics.com/tickets.
