The rain made for a soggy Saturday night at Texas Reds but it didn't dampen many businesses in Downtown Bryan.
Some even had record setting sales.

Cooking confections is a way of life for Josh and Ciana Neubauer and now it's their livelihood too.
The Chocolate Gallery opened for the first time Friday just in time for Texas Reds.
"A lot of people would go to one case and say oh you have chocolates and go to the other one and there was a lot of both going on," said Ciana Neubauer, The Chocolate Gallery Executive Pastry Chef.
Opening up in time for the steak and grape festival brought sweet success. More than 1000 new faces.
"Saturday was crazy," she added.
"I mean we had probably 60-70 people at once," said Josh Neubauer, The Chocolate Gallery Executive Chocolatier.
Papa Perez Mexican Restaurant had their best Friday ever.
Owner Michael Perez estimates 500 people came by over the weekend, even though headlining act Roger Creager was cancelled due to rain Saturday night.
"Even though it messed up being outside for Texas Reds, but it brought 'em all into the restaurants," said Michael Perez.
While the rain may have lowered attendance on Saturday it looks like more people came on Friday this year. The city is optimistic at least 20,000 people came for the weekend but official numbers aren't out just yet.
At the Main Street Barber Shop Chuy Espinoza stayed open.
While business was about half of a normal Saturday, he's glad he kept the open sign lit.
"Well it's a good exposure one week out of 52 can't really hurt all that much, so you know you make the best of it," said Chuy Espinoza.
A good weekend even if it got cut short.
Bryan city officials tell us they are in discussions to see if Roger Creager would be able to do a make up performance.
This year the city spent around $37,000 on all of the entertainment which is about an $8,000 savings from last year.
The city council will be briefed on how much money the festival made and lost in November.
