It's a sign of the times.
Texas A&M is already transitioning into an SEC look.
While we are still four months away from the SEC conference move, Texas A&M is already tweeting out new pictures of the SEC signs and logos going up inside an equipment office in the Texas A&M Bright Football Complex at Kyle Field.
The blue and yellow Southeastern Conference sign was put up in recent weeks inside a secure equipment room area and athletic officials tell us they hope it will be a draw for future recruiting.
The football, volleyball, soccer and cross country programs are being given the green light to start transitioning their areas but so far this has been the only place you can see change.
We're told crews will continue the the switch out in the equipment area on Monday.
"Matt Watson our director of equipment for athletics in his area that they had the Big 12 logo up with the logos from the 12 teams. Actually Nebraska, Colorado were still up there so pulling those down and putting up the 14 member SEC. So one good thing they can keep the Mizzou logo as well," said Alan Cannon, Texas A&M Sports Information Director.
Missouri will also be transitioning from the Big 12 to SEC next season.
Cannon tells us you won't see SEC flags outside around campus until around July 1st when they officially join the conference.
Just this week Texas A&M agreed to pay $12.4 million to leave the Big 12 Conference and join the SEC.
A&M opens football play in the SEC against Florida on September 8th.
