The Great Texas Gun Company Burglarized, Sheriff's Office Needs Your Help

On Saturday, December 17, 2011 at approximately 0315hrs “The Great Texas Gun Company” on Hwy 21 East was burglarized. Approximately five (5) suspects are seen on the store’s surveillance video. The actors spent about an hour around the building prior to cutting through the outside sheet-metal and kicking a hole through the sheetrock. Approximately eighty (80) rifles and handguns were taken during this burglary.

Surveillance video from a neighboring business captured what appears to be a dark colored F150 four (4) door truck near the gun store prior to the burglary. The truck appears to have chrome running boards, a chrome bumper and a sun roof. The vehicle also appears to be missing the passenger-side mirror and has front right quarter panel damage.

The attached photo of a white male was recorded at a convenience store, near the gun store, prior to the burglary. The male was seen on a store surveillance camera in the parking lot near a dark colored Ford truck similar to the one pictured above. Investigators believe the person in the photo may have information that is relevant to the burglary.

If you have information that could identify the male or the owner or location of the truck you are asked to call Brazos County Crime Stoppers (979) 775-TIPS (8477) or the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office (979) 361-4980.
