Andy Gladson with The Treasure Hunter Road Show travels the country looking for local treasures.
"This is all kinds of things that we look for. All the old watches, bracelets, pocket watches," said Gladson.
Sure silver and gold are the hot commodities but every once in a while he runs into something that has some serious history.
"Down in the oilfields in south Texas, somebody brought in an old dinosaur tooth," said Gladson.
From antique toys, World War II knives, and cast iron banks Gladson will be spending the next few days in Hearne, looking to make a few purchases.
"We're here to buy. We have $250,000 that we're ready to spend out here in Hearne," said Gladson.
Money that could bring out even more Texas treasures and help an economy in need.
The Treasure Hunter Road Show will be at the Holiday Inn Express through Wednesday and will then make a stop in Franklin.
