College Station - On September 24, 2013 at approximately 12:13 AM, Officers with the College Station Police Department were dispatched to the 300 block of Pierre for a report of a suspicious person.
Upon arrival Officers were able to make contact with the person and through the course of the investigation were able to learn that he was a suspect in a theft of a firearm reported the previous day.
The suspect then gave officers consent to enter his residence, where they were able to observe what appeared to be drug paraphernalia and two rounds of ammunition on the floor in the suspect’s bedroom. The suspect was then placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the College Station Police Department.
Officers then obtained a search warrant to search the remainder of the residence and the stolen firearm was then located in the residence.
His possession of firearm was found to be in violation of a protective order issued by the 280th Judicial District Court in Harris County, which subsequently added an additional charge of violation of protective order.
Arrested and charged with Theft of a Firearm, Violation of Protective Order, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia:
Salomon Samuel Durocher; 30 year old College Station Resident
