Thorndale Man Gets 10 Years in Prison for Intoxication Assault

Under the direction of Bill Torrey, the Milam County District Attorney, the following felony cases were resolved in Judge John W. Youngblood’s 20th Judicial District Court, for the period of July 22, 2013 through July 26, 2013:

KOREY JAMES BOOTHE, 24, of Thorndale, was sentenced to ten (10) years imprisonment in TDCJ, with the court to consider “Shock Probation” after Mr. Boothe pleaded guilty to a 3rd Degree Felony Intoxication Assault earlier this year.

The following cases was handled by Special Prosecutor John Paschall:

MELVIN GERHARDT MILLER, JR, 33, of Rockdale, was placed on one (1) year Deferred Adjudication Probation with standard conditions of probation, $750 fine and restitution of $521.00 after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor Attempted Debit Card Abuse

EDWIN WILLIAMS, 63, of Rockdale, was sentenced to one (1) year in the Milam County Jail after pleading guilty to a Lesser Included Class A Misdemeanor Criminal Trespass
