Three Houston residents were arrested after sheriffs deputies say they stole a boat in Washington County.
Washington County sheriff's deputies say they saw an SUV towing a trailer with a boat, parked on the side of the road Tuesday morning.
The deputy pulled over to help, because he thought they were having car trouble. That's when the deputy realized the boat had just been stolen from a property need Lake Somerville, according to Sheriff Otto Hanak.
19-year-old Edward Aleman, 20-year-old Gabino Ibarra, and 21-year-old Zackary Downland were arrested and charged with felony theft and engaging in organized criminal activity.
