Three Suspects Arrested for Selling Ambulance Scraps

On Wednesday, investigators with the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force arrested three people at the Texas Port Recycling Center on Douget Road just east of Conroe.

The suspects were attempting to sell an ambulance for scrap that had been reported stolen to the Houston Police Department.

Harris County residents Oscar Comeaux, James West, and Peter Burks were all arrested for Felony Theft. Comeaux was also charged with Tampering with a Government Document.

Other thefts of automobiles that had been under investigation by the Auto Theft Task Force were also traced to at least one of the suspects.
