Multiple reports were submitted to the National Weather Service this Christmas Morning of a Tornado in Houston County, while a warning was in place.
The first report came in around 9:10am of a possible tornado near Houston County Lake.
The second report came in around 9:22am from 13 miles Southeast of Crockett, with damage to a building along Hwy. 287.
The third report also came in around 9:22am, by a trained storm spotter, 15 miles to the Southeast of Crockett. This tornado was reported as passing through a pasture behind a house. No damage was mentioned with that report.
Storm damage (down tree limbs) were also reported to News 3 in Madisonville.
