Two accidents Tuesday evening on Highway 6 in College Station slowed traffic for about two hours.

College Station police say around 5:20 p.m. a car somehow lost control and rolled over into the median on Highway 6, near Post Oak Mall.

No one was injured, but the accident backed up traffic.

Not too soon after that a pick-up, reportedly traveling too fast, slammed into an 18-wheel truck that had come to stop.

The driver of the pick-up had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The scene was cleared around 8 Tuesday evening.

More details to come as they become available
