A thunderstorm that swept through part of Bryan-College Station knocked down some trees and power lines this afternoon.
It didn't last long, but the areas that were hit sustained some pretty heavy winds. The weather caused a power outage in the Briarcrest area of Bryan.
According to Bryan Texas Utilities, about 200 customers lost power, including the Bryan Target.
BTU says four trees came down in the area knocking down power lines in the area.
Downed trees also temporarily blocked an entrance to an apartment complex off of 29th street in Bryan.
"In just a matter of 10 minutes we've had 7 trees fall. They didn't just uproot! They snapped just like a twig,” said Espie Coulter who work at Royal Oaks Apartments.
There are no other major reports of damage.
