The Twin City Mission is currently collecting gently used coats and blankets to help families stay warm this winter.
You can drop off your donation at several locations throughout Bryan-College Station. Click on the link below to see this year's drop off locations.
The coats and blankets will be given out to those in need on November 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at the Twin City Mission warehouse on 22nd Street in Bryan.
The annual drive is an opportunity to help those less fortunate in our community. Organizers say it has given comfort to many people who depend on the coats and blankets every year.
"We want people to understand that while we're a week away, there is a need out there. We're in desperate need of some coats and blankets from our community that we can help provide for those for the upcoming winter," said Ron Crozier, Twin City Mission Director of Community Relations.
Last year Twin City Mission gave out 1,000 coats and blankets to families in need.
