Two Brazos County residents received 30-year sentences for a trio of aggravated robbery charges related to a shootout.
Angelika Young, 22 of Bryan, and Terry Fielder Jr., 22 of College Station, pleaded guilty to the charges in June and were sentenced Wednesday.
These were two of five people charged with an April 2011 incident. Prosecutors say Young's car had broken down at a car show in Austin. Three men there were unable to repair it, so they drove her back to Bryan.
Young then started texting her boyfriend, Albert Bolden Jr, about how they should try to steal the good samaritans' rims and stereo equipment.
Young directed them to a property in the Brushy community of Brazos County, where all three men were ambushed and shot. The cars were stolen, and later found with the equipment and tires stripped.
Prosecutors say Fielder confessed to being one of the gunmen.
Bolden, 23 of Bryan, got a 30-year sentence earlier this year for helping set up the ambush shooting.
