Two Men Charged with Robbing Conroe Convenience Store

Conroe Two men are in jail after Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies say they robbed a convenience store Highway 242.

According to the report, just before 2:00 am Tuesday, deputies were called out to the store on Hwy 242 at Lexington Drive. Witnesses gave them a description of a suspect and vehicle.

Witnesses told deputies that a suspect entered the store wearing a bandanna over his face and a black hoodie. The suspect demanded money from the register and kept his hand in this pocket as if he had a gun. The suspect left in an older model Mustang.

Deputies saw the vehicle driving east on SH 242 and stopped the vehicle as it turned onto FM 1314. The two occupants, 20-year-old Dylan Matthew Harris and 18-year-old Kevin Childers, were arrested and taken to jail charged with robbery. No weapon was found in the vehicle.
