Two Men in Custody Following Pursuit in Grimes County

The Department of Public Safety says two men are in custody following a chase in Grimes County.

Investigators say troopers were trying to make a traffic stop around 2:30 Thursday afternoon at Highway 6 and County Road 450 near an industrial park. Two men who were inside the vehicle fled on foot.

Troopers were quickly able to detain the two men.

The Department of Public Safety is handling the investigation. The Navasota Police Department and the Grimes County Sheriff's Office assisted.
