Traffic on Southbound Highway 6 was backed up, Sunday evening, just south of Briarcrest Drive due to an accident involving two 18-wheelers. Shortly after that accident, two cars collided in the northbound lanes near the same area.
Bryan Police Investigators told KBTX no one received serious injuries when one semi rear-ended another, sending the front one off the roadway. Drivers heading south on Highway 6 were delayed while first responders attempted to clean the roadway.
Also, traffic was backed up on Northbound Highway 6 after a minor collision. Officers told KBTX that one car rear-ended another car just north of Briarcrest Drive. One northbound lane was shut down while first responders cleared the roadway. No injuries have been reported.
