Two people are arrested after being caught with pot and stolen credit cards.
Josh Edwards and passenger, Tiffany Margaret Taylor, were pulled over Thursday on Holleman Drive. Inside the vehicle, police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia that, according to the police report, Edwards said belonged to him.
A thorough search of the vehicle revealed a wallet allegedly containing three stolen credit cards and a series of stolen checks that were made out to local businesses in excess of $200. Taylor told police while she was confined in the Brazos County Jail, her cell-mate gave her 'power of attorney' over her belongings.
All 3 credit card owners were contacted, in addition to the owner of the checkbook. The owner of the checkbook claimed they were stolen out of his mailbox.
Police say Edwards was driving with a suspended license; he was also arrested for possession of marijuana. Meanwhile, Taylor was arrested for theft.
