Two Bank Robbers in Texas, Missouri Get Prison

WACO, Texas - A federal judge in Central Texas has sentenced two bank robbers to prison for 2011 holdups in Texas and Missouri.

Prosecutors in Waco say sentencing is pending for a third convicted robber. All three Macon, Mo., residents were caught last September in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Jacob Thomas Norris and Alexia Quentasha Baker in March pleaded guilty to bank robbery and to aiding and abetting bank robbery.

A judge in Waco on Wednesday sentenced Norris to six years in prison and Baker to more than three years behind bars. Prosecutors linked the suspects to robberies in Temple and Columbia, Mo.

Jeffrey Brent Heckman pleaded guilty to two counts of bank robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of bank robbery and to carrying a firearm during a violent crime.
