Two Brenham men have been arrested after trying to burglarize a gas refinery station near Lake Somerville.
Washington County officials say 43-year-old Will Murski and 38-year-old Jason Grabarchick were attempting to burglarize the property located at 2050 Quarry Road around 1 AM Wednesday when they were caught by authorities.
It was then that officials discovered several criminal instruments on the suspects, as well as sections of cut copper wiring.
Officials say Murski and Grabarchick were also in possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Murski has been charged with Theft of Copper and Possession and or Use of Criminal Instrument.
Grabarschick has been charged with Theft of Copper, Possession and or Use of Criminal Instrument and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Washington County officials believe the case is possibly connected to several other copper thefts in the county.
